ACHIM (아침)

LEARN WORD NO. 52: ACHIM

IN HANGUL: 아침

What is the meaning of the korean word "achim"? The korean word "achim" which is written in hangul as "아침" is the korean term for "morning". So for example you wanted to say "good morning" in korean, you can say "joeun achim-imnida (좋은 아침입니다)". On this example sentence, "joeun" means "good (adjective)", "imnida" means "it is". So the example sentence could be literally translated as "good morning, it is", so we can use this to say "good morning" in korean.

To assist you on retaining the meaning of the korean word "achim" you may check this video lecture.
