EONNI (언니)

LEARN WORD NO. 74: EONNI

IN HANGUL: 언니

What is the meaning of the korean word "eonni"? The korean word "eonni" which is written in hangul as "언니" is used to say "older sister", this is specifically used by a girl to call his older sister. If a boy is going to call his older sister in korean, "noona" is the more appropriate term than "eonni".

To assist you on retaining the meaning of the korean word "eonni" you may check this video lecture.

A remake for this video is also available, you may check on this one too.
